Life Story

Anne Elizabeth Clabby, 81, of 135 Summit Avenue, Lewiston, died on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the d’Youville Pavilion. She was the daughter of Patrick and Margaret Madden Clabby, she was born in Lewiston on December 23, 1936. Educated in local schools, she was a graduate of Lewiston High School, Class of’ 55. She worked as an operator for New England Telephone from 1956 until her retirement in 1991. Anne was a devout Catholic, and was very active in the former St. Patrick’s Church, as a member of the Rosary Sodality, counting collections, and volunteering for a variety of church activities. Since the closing of St. Patrick’s, she has been a daily communicant of either the Ss. Peter & Paul Basilica or Holy Family Church. Anne loved to travel, and considered herself blessed to have visited so many places .Survivors include; a brother, John and his wife Constance Clabby of Lewiston, three sisters, Theresa Card of Lewiston, Patricia Kelley of Turner, and Mary Bird of Lewiston, and many nieces and nephews.
