Antoinette O. Therrien

Life Story

Antoinette “Toni” O. Therrien, 86, formerly of 4 Lord Street, Lewiston, passed away peacefully in Lewiston on Friday, September 28, 2018, at the Marshwood Nursing Home in Lewiston. Born in Canada on October 10, 1931, she moved to the Lewiston area at a young age and was educated in local schools. The youngest of sixteen children, she started her own family after marrying the love of her life, Bertrand A. Therrien. Prior to her retirement, she worked for many years at the Bates Mill. A devoted wife and mother, she was an excellent cook. In her younger years, she enjoyed family time at their camp in Naples, snowmobiling in the winter and boating on Lake Sebago in the summer. A member of Holy Family Church, Prince of Peace Parish, she is survived by her husband of 62 years, Bertrand of Lewiston, and two sons, Bertrand Jr. and wife Becky of Industry, and Richard of Auburn. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by fifteen¬† brothers and sisters.¬†
