Patricia E. Sullivan

Life Story

Patricia E. Sullivan, 76, of Auburn, died in her home on Saturday, September 28, 2013. Born in Auburn on January 14, 1937, she was the daughter of Joseph and Ida Roy Sullivan. Educated in Auburn schools, she was a graduate of Edward Little High School. Following the death of her father in 1959, she helped her mother run a hotel in Old Orchard Beach from 1960 to 1970, did daycare for several years, and then worked at the Hannaford’s Supermarket in Auburn until her retirement. Pat enjoyed a good joke and laughed easily, and had a life-long love of animals. Although she never had any of her own, she especially loved being around children. One of her favorite things was to take children out for rides in her convertible.  She also enjoyed long walks, especially on the beach. A member of the former St. Joseph’s Church in Lewiston, she is survived by her sister, Eileen Seger of New Canaan, CT, a nephew, Ron Seger and wife Jody of Wenham, MA, a niece, Kathleen and husband David Derian of Medfield, MA, and five grand-nephews; Nicholas and William Derian, and James, Christopher, and Michael Seger.
