Richard “Dick” Dagneau

Life Story

Richard “Dick” Dagneau, 71, of 23 Spofford Street, Lewiston, died Sunday, February 10, 2013, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. Born in Lewiston on January 7, 1942, the son of Robert and Yvette Jolin Dagneau. Educated in local schools, he married the former Yvette J. St. Onge on September 3,1971. Mrs. Dagneau passed away on December 14, 2008. Prior to his retirement, Dick worked at Seltzer & Rydholm for many years. A member of Ss. Peter & Paul Basilica, Prince of Peace Parish, Dick enjoyed reading, puzzles, going for his daily walk, traveling, and in his younger years, camping with his family. Survivors include a son, David and wife Diane of Poland, six grandchildren; Megan, Jeremy, and Brandon Dagneau, and Jacob, Andrew, and Hunter Ustach, and a great-grandchild on the way. Besides his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a son, Donald, a brother, Lucien, and a sister, Rachel Wilson.  The Family would like to Thank the Nurses and Dr. Richard Kahn at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, for all the loving care they gave Dick during his hospital stay. 1
