Richard R. Pelletier

Richard R. Pelletier, 69, of Auburn died Thursday, January 3, at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Lewiston on February 21, 1949 to Lionel and Henrietta Bussiere Pelletier. He was employed for 47 years by the Enterprise Foundry in Lewiston having worked his way up to being the melting supervisor. He was known to many as Pepsi. He met and married the former Margaret Lupardo in 1975 and together they raised three wonderful children. He was a member of IHM Parish at Sacred Heart Church in Auburn where he served as an Extraordinary minister. Richard loved raising his family and helping his kids and grandkids grow up. His support of his family and friends was unparalleled and he would do anything he could to support them. Watching the kids play sports and or watching his favorite football team on Sunday’s was at the top of his list. Richard also had a special knack for supporting his kid’s friends and making them feel like part of the family. Survivors include his wife, Margaret; two daughters, Melissa Malloy and companion Eric Steele, Angela Pelletier and companion Rick Fisher; one son Keith and wife Mandy; two sisters, Linda Bellmore, Deborah and husband Jay Robitaille; two brothers, Paul Pelletier and Robert Bussiere; seven grandchildren, Caleb, Izak, Hunter, Madison, Isabella, Zachary and Parker; two special meatballs, Rudie and Bentley; his beloved dog, Mia and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his mother and father-in-law, Raphael and Catherine Lupardo. He will be greatly missed by those he loved and those who loved him.
