Roger J. Bouchard

Life Story

Roger J. Bouchard, 82, of 24 Arrowhead Drive, Lisbon, died Thursday, January 31, 2019, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, with his family by his side. Born in Van Buren on February 25, 1936, the son of Leon and Cecile Levesque Bouchard. He moved to the Lewiston area with his family as a boy, and was educated in local schools. Never afraid of working hard, Roger worked for the Bates Mill as a pipe-fitter and plumber for over 45 years, and then spent another 16 years working for United Ambulance. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed time spent with family and friends, especially his weekly card game. Survivors include two daughters, Deborah and husband Kyle Percy of Fort Collins, CO, Cathy Bouchard and her partner Dan Horton of Lewiston, a brother, Normand and wife Alta of Lisbon, a sister, Leola Bouthot of Lewiston, two grandchildren, Gannon and Owen Percy, and a long-time companion, Aline LePage of Auburn.
