Timothy R. Eames

Life Story

Timothy R. Eames, 57, a resident of Livermore, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 30, 2021, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston after a battle with cancer.

Tim was born in Farmington, Maine on December 20, 1963, one of eight children of Robert (“Bob”) and Sally “Holmes” Eames. As a child, Tim lived in various states and attended several different schools before moving to Livermore, where he graduated from Livermore Falls High School (LFHS) in 1982. Tim was proud to have been a founding father of the “Brew Crew of ’82,” and he was also a proud member of the LFHS Andies Football team. His love for football led him to become a life-long fan of the University of Nebraska and Dallas Cowboys football teams.

After graduating from LFHS, Tim moved to Bellevue, Nebraska where he worked at Nebraska Furniture Mart for thirty-six years. While in Nebraska, Tim enjoyed actively supporting his nieces’ and nephews’ sports teams and playing pool at local bars with his friends—so much so that he joined a traveling pool league, once competing in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In 2018, Tim’s love for Maine, and his desire to spend more quality time with his Dad, brought him back home from Nebraska. Upon returning home, Tim became a member of the Livermore Trail Blazers Snowmobile Club and spent his free time going out to breakfast at Moose Hill Diner, playing pool at Amvets Post #33 and Hillside Sports Club, four-wheeling, playing cornhole at the Mann/Holt camp on Round Pond (where he had his own beer fridge), and visiting with his family and friends. Tim was employed by Ware Butler, Inc., of Livermore Falls.

Tim is survived by his father, Bob Eames, and his long-time companion Judy Caparratto; his mother, Sally Eames; his seven siblings, and their spouses: Susan John, Robin and Sheri Harris, Randy and Lisa Harris, Ronnie Harris, Judy and Tim Reznicek, Angela Eames, and Russell and Colleen Eames; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A graveside service will be held for Tim at Intervale Cemetery, 172 Maple Lane, Livermore, Maine—date and time to be announced at a later date.
